Rosh Hashanah

Rosh Hashana is the Jewish New Year (Head of the Year). It is the first of the High Holy days or Yamim Noraim ("Days of Awe"); Rosh Hashanah is celebrated ten days before Yom Kippur and is observed on the first two days of Tishrei, the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar. It is described in the Torah as יום תרועה (Yom Teru'ah, a day of sounding [the Shofar]).  The sounding of the Shofar is a proclamation to remind Israel of the promise of the coming King, Yeshua.  Christians too are reminded of the 2nd coming of the Lord. More information is forthcoming. Save the date.
