8 Prayer Watches

According to the book of Genesis in the bible the Lord called the evening and the morning the first day; the day began in the evening not the morning.  It is 6 pm in the evening that begins the day. When the watchman prays during the first watch hour he/she should focus on family, thanksgiving and the city or region of residence of government.  The first watch is also a time to renew God’s covenant and pray for protection through the night during sleep.

The 2nd prayer watch you want to intercede for protection of family, your city and nation.  Prayer watchers pray for God to tear down strongholds. Pray for deliverance, religious and educational systems. It is the second watch that witches and warlocks are performing their rituals.  Prayer warriors want to pull down strongholds of curses and spells, rebuking the evil that lurks throughout the night into the sunrise.

Satanic worshipers are continuing their duty to the evil one; demonic worshipers are prowling cities seeking to create havoc upon the people of God. The story of the two women who agree to eat each other's child, is a good example of how evil acts of trickery occur in the late hours of the night to early morning. Pull down strongholds; plead the blood of the Jesus Christ over family, friends, leaders, children, the city, or region you reside.

According to the bible in the book of Matthew 26:34 (KJV), it is the time Peter denied Christ.  The bible shares that Jesus prophesied Peter would deny Him three times before the rooster crow.  The rooster Jesus was referring to was the High Priest overseeing the temple calling for the leaders to come to the temple to pray; the rooster’s call was to alarm them the temple was ready.  It’s during this time of morning that satanic forces are returning to their bases, and it’s a time to command your day.  This is a good time to pray prophetically and prophesy pleading God’s word over your life, and the day’s plan.

Intercessors  pray for economic systems of the region in which you reside, as well as their personal business.  Continue to command your day praying prophetically to expectations seeking the manifestation for results. During the fifth hour of the day the Holy Ghost fell upon the disciples equipping them with power to perform and carry out their respective assignments.  Ask Abba to equip you with the power of the Holy Ghost to perform your employment and your purpose.  Seek God for wisdom in any contract agreements you may be negotiating. Decree and declare expectations  to see manifested results.

The sixth hour of prayer is the time that the crucifixion began.  Yeshua stood strong, forgave His crucifiers, and cried out to God.  This is the time for the watchman to cry out to God, watch and listen for His manifestation of His word upon your life.  Yeshua was strengthen and He encouraged the sinner on His right promising Him salvation.  Seek God for salvation and strength for whatever you are enduring. Pray like Yeshua, and forgive your enemies, forgive those that hurt you.  Seek Yahweh for manifestation of His word in your life, healing physically and emotionally, prosperity, deliverance, strength.  Seek God to give you the strength to crucify your life and to deny your flesh.

Yeshua was hung on the cross and remained there from 9 am until 3 pm.  The seventh watch hour is the time of suffering of the Savior; He hung on the cross six hours.  Jesus hung on the cross for the salvation of man notating the seventh hour as a symbol of man to man for deliverance from death to life everlasting.   During the seventh watch hour, prayer should be focused on seeking God and dwelling in the secret place, remembering Yahweh’s protection over your life.  Focus on the sacrifice of the Savior and meditate on how you as a believer may surrender your life for Christ.  In addition, the seventh hour is during the midday when the sun is shining bright and during the time the whole earth turned dark while Jesus hung on the cross.  Jesus shined as the light from heaven shined upon Him, therefore, consider praying that God’s light shine upon believers.  Meditate, seek the Father to strengthen you with His personality and character so you too may shine like Christ.  Jesus shifted the atmosphere during the seventh hour of the day; seek God to be an atmosphere shifter and glory carrier for the glory of God was upon the Savior during the seventh hour.  Moreover, prayer should be directed towards giving thanksgiving to the Son of God for His sacrifice and providing everlasting life.

During this hour your day is coming to an end, and you are about to approach a new day on God’s calendar.  This is the watch of power, as during this time the ground shook and the graves were opened while Christ was dying on the cross giving up the ghost.  The bible shares the dead arose and showed themselves to many people, wow!  This is the hour in which the watchman prays and seek God for life to anything that is dead.  This is the hour to seek God to manifest in your life His word and prove the naysayers wrong.  It was not until Yeshua died, the ground shook and opened that the soldiers with all bystanders realized they had crucified the Savior.  Pray and seek God for strength to die to self and live for Christ.  Seek God to call to life the dead through the power of His word in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.
